Raquel Sousa

Dentist / Practice Manager

 

Hi, I’m Raquel. I graduated in Dentistry in 2004 in Porto, Portugal, and moved to the UK shortly afterwards. Since then, I’ve completed a wide range of postgraduate courses in the UK and internationally, and in 2010 I obtained an MSc in Cosmetic Dentistry in Lisbon.

I worked clinically as a dentist at Pembroke Dental &Implant Centre for several years, but I now focus on practice management rather than clinical work. Alongside this, I teach undergraduate students and I’m completing a PhD in Dentistry at the University of Porto.

This doesn’t leave much free time—apart from spending it with my family.
